Proforma Safety Helps BP Thunder Horse Log More Than 13 Million Safe Man Hours

February 20, 2008

Proforma Safety will be completing its six-year HSE Service Agreement with BP’s Thunder Horse Project in the Gulf of Mexico later in 2008.

Scott Arnold, Vice President of Operations and Thunder Horse HSE Lead has successfully overseen the safety of the Thunder Horse Project from its very beginning and was instrumental in establishing one of the best project safety records in BP’s history.

Leading a Proforma S.W.A.T. group of 23 Safety Professionals and HSE Advisors, Arnold reported to BP’s top management that an impressive record had been achieved -- 13,999,773 man hours as of February 1, 2008, with a TRIR of .031 and no lost-time incidents (DAFWC).

Proforma oversaw the safety for Thunder Horse during much of its fabrication, construction, installation and testing phases of the sub-sea systems, in addition to providing HSE assistance on the PDQ platform.
